US media: North Korea’s Kim to meet Putin in Russia

World News

The US says North Korean leader Kim Jong Un plans to travel to Russia for a meeting with President Vladimir Putin to discuss providing Moscow with weapons. US media said the visit could take place within the month – citing unnamed officials. The pair last met in 2019. Pyongyang and Moscow have both previously denied that North Korea is providing Russia with supplies for its war in Ukraine. Western officials say both Moscow and Kyiv are burning through huge amounts of munitions as the war enters its 19th month.
