Ukraine slams Louis Vuitton for ‘pro-Putin’ ad | ‘Luxury Smells Better When Drenched In Blood’

Ukraine slams Louis Vuitton

Ukraine has lashed out at French luxury brand Louis Vuitton for its “pro-Russia’ advertisement. The adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has joined a chorus of pro-Kyiv activists claiming that Louis Vuitton has blood on its hands. Zelensky’s adviser jibed LV by saying, “Luxury smells better when it’s drenched in blood, right Louis Vuitton?’ Ukraine accused the elite fashion house of being focused on the Russian nouveau riche and choosing to publicly toy with the symbols of aggression. Louis Vuitton is facing grave charges in Kyiv for posting an advertisement that features one of the French fashion icon’s decades-old symbols. Kyiv has interpreted Louis Vuitton’s French flag-inspired banner as a show of support for the Russian federation amid the ongoing war in Ukraine. The claims made by Ukraine seem like just propaganda amid battlefield setbacks.
