Sturgeon asks UK Government for co-operation over indyref2

Nicola Sturgeon has asked the UK government to agree to a second Scottish independence referendum “in the spirit of co-operation”. The first minister told SNP members at the party’s conference on Monday that “democracy must – and will – prevail”, to allow the country another vote on its future.
